How to Apply DTF Transfer
Applying a DTF transfer is easy! All you need is a heat press, a DTF transfer, and your garment of choice. Just follow these steps for the best results:
- Position the Transfer: Place the DTF transfer design-side down on the garment where you want the design to appear.
- Heat Press Settings:
- Temperature: 300°F
- Time: 10-15 seconds
- Pressure: Medium
- Peel the Film: Let the garment cool down slightly to a warm touch, then carefully peel off the transfer film.
- Optional: Re-Press for Durability: To ensure longevity, cover the transfer with Teflon (for shiny look) or parchment paper (for matte look)and press again for 5 seconds.
Your garment is now ready with a vibrant and long-lasting print!
Note-If you are using Cricut Easy press
Heat Press the transfer with these settings :
- Apply hard pressure
- 320 degrees for 15-20 seconds.
If you are using Home Iron- use these setting
Iron the Garment
Apply one of these settings to suit your garment type if the iron heat settings is adjustable.

Temperature / Time Settings:
- Cotton: 325F / 20 seconds
- 50/50: 300F / 15 seconds
- Tri-Blend: 275F / 15 seconds
- Poly: 275F / 10 seconds
